Muzik destination Instrument Terms & Conditions for repairs
1. Quotations and Diagnostics
Diagnostics Fee: A non-refundable upfront assessment fee may apply. This fee is typically credited toward the final repair cost if you proceed with the repair.
Validity: Quotations are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. Prices are subject to change due to unforeseen parts availability, supplier price increases, or currency fluctuations.
Approval: No repair work will commence until the customer provides written or verbal approval of the quotation.
2. Payment Terms
Payment Due: All invoices must be paid in full prior to the release or dispatch of the repaired instrument.
Method: Payments can be accepted via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) or approved cash, unless otherwise arranged in writing.
Storage and Abandonment: Customers will be notified immediately upon completion of the repair. Instruments not collected within 90 days of notification will be deemed abandoned. Abandoned instruments may be sold to recover the cost of repairs and storage, subject to applicable local laws.

3. Warranty on Repairs
Workmanship Guarantee: Repairs are warranted against defects in workmanship and replaced parts for a period of 90 days from the date of repair.
Limitations: The warranty applies solely to the specific repairs performed. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, unauthorized tampering, normal wear and tear, or improper environmental storage (e.g., humidity or temperature extremes).

4. Liability and Risk
Transit Risk: The customer bears the risk of loss or damage to the instrument while in transit to our premises. It is highly recommended to use insured, trackable couriers and pack items securely in sturdy, padded containers.
Limitation of Liability: Our total liability for any loss, damage, or malfunction directly caused by our service shall in no circumstances exceed the total cost of the repair quoted. We are not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.
Pre-existing Damage: We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or hidden faults in the instrument that may manifest during the repair process.

5. Replaced Parts
Replaced parts will be discarded after repair unless the customer specifically requests the return of old parts prior to the commencement of the repair work.

6. Governing Law and Compliance
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Both parties agree to resolve disputes in accordance with the provisions outlined in the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) where applicable.
